About the Foundation

Västmanlands-Dala Nation's Housing Foundation was founded in the 1950s. The purpose of the Foundation was to offer members good, cheap housing. Over the years, the Foundation has built houses on Triangeln and on Svartmangatan. At the end of 2008 we completed the construction of 118 new apartments in Kvarteret Observatoriet, near Ekonomikum.

Most of the Foundation's Board members are elected at the nation's general assembly, called "Landskap". This way the members of the Nation are able to influence the Foundation. 

The Housing Foundation has five employees who are responsible for the maintenance and for providing good sevice to our tenants.
